FEMCO Magnet Wire is a joint venture company that has been
supplying round insulated copper magnet (winding) wire to the transplant
market since 1988. We are located in Franklin, Indiana, approximately 30
minutes from the Indianapolis airport. We were the first company
in Indiana to successfully pass a QS 9000 audit. We have been ISO 9002 certified
since 1994 and QS 9000 certified since 1995.

Company Profile
FEMCO Magnet Wire was formed in 1988 as a joint venture
between Essex Group and Furukawa Electric. We are the only Japanese American
magnet wire joint venture currently doing business in the United States.

FEMCO received the 1998 top supplier award from Denso Tennessee Mfg. as well as 1999 service awards for outstanding quality, delivery and cost from Hitachi Automotive Products (4 consecutive years) and Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc.
